Having two dogs has increased the amount that I need to vacuum from once every 3 weeks to every 30 seconds. (Sorry if that photo grosses you out. It's a fact of life for me and most other dog owners in the world.)
I was looking into getting a Dyson vacuum, cause I heard that they were awesome. I bet they are, but they are also $800. This vacuum was $120. It's the Shark Navigator Lift-Away. I decided to buy it based on some online reviews that I read, so I just thought I would tell you guys: It's great.
It is bagless. It sucks up dog hair with ease. These photos show my beautiful baby girl and the amount of hair that she loses when I brush her, a pile of dog hair after one pass of the vacuum and the finished, clean carpet - after only 8 passes. That's it. For that amount of dog hair: amazing.
I think my only complaint is that the cord is shorter than I want it to be. But that's not that bad of a complaint. The outside of the canister can get a little bit dirty, but it's nothing, comparatively.
It comes with plenty of attachments that are useful. They are easy to store and to access. The canister is very easy to open and empty.
I give it 4.5 stars out of 5.
