I enjoy coffee, but it's just a little too acidic for me. A friend suggested cold brew, so I went to go find a cold brew coffee maker. I love it!
Add coffee. Spoon 10 tbsp of coffee into your filter – The instructions suggest using 60g of coffee but that’s meaningless to me. I was scooping over the sink and hubs noticed and suggested that I spoon over the coffee can, so I didn’t waste any precious grounds.
Put filter into the pitcher.
Pour room temperature water over the coffee grounds. Secure lid.
Brew for 12-24 hours in the refrigerator or at room temperature.
I pour my coffee through a filter – if the coffee maker isn’t in use, it works best!
From the website: Why Cold Brew?
Cold brewing is 70% less acidic than hot brewing and richer in taste. Our Oranlife cold brewer extracts coffee concentrate which can be stored and mixed with an endless variety of beverages. Cold brew is the revolutionary coffee of all coffees. With cold brewed coffee, the caffeine level are the same as regular hot coffee but with far less acidity. Cold brew is known to have a very subtly rich and deep flavor sans the bitterness found in regular brewed coffee. The coffee is delicious on its own or can be combined with cream, milk, sugar or flavoring to ones personal favorite taste.
I have no regrets from changing to cold brew coffee. It's so much better and I can now drink coffee before eating breakfast and not feel like I'm going to die.
