In February, around Valentine's Day, there were some adorable bears in Walgreens. They filled an entire section with them, every shelf. It was really cute. Once Valentine's Day was over, the bears took residence on top of the shelves around the store. You could see them out the windows from the parking lot.
I wanted really badly to purchase all of them and fill my guest room. Then nap on them. But that was just a dream.
So I went in today and they were sitting atop the shelves, but today they were ready for summer. They all had pool toys, or umbrellas/parasols. They were sitting in lawn chairs, or lounging on a beach towel.
It made me so happy to see that the people who worked there were being creative, despite working for a large corporation. They did a great job of engaging the customer - well, me at least.
