Pill Pockets for Dogs

I got tired of buying pill pockets and figured there would be a good homemade recipe out there. I found a few, and Karebear loves them!

1/4 cup water or milk

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter or pumpkin

1/4 cup oats (or flour, or rice, oat or almond flour)

Place oats into blender or food processor. I often make more oat flour than I need and store the rest for next time. Mix ingredients in a 1:1:2 ratio. Store in the refrigerator. I get about a tablespoon's worth and wrap Kara's pills in it each morning and evening.

Peanut butter can be dangerous for dogs, so I did some research and saw that of the store-bought peanut butters, Jif Natural is good because it has less salt and no weird sugars that are deadly for dogs. Do the research that works for you. If you use milk, the pill pockets will be good until the milk's expiration date.
