Make it Better: Gingerbread Cookies


My husband loves ginger. A lot of my recipes are taking something (a box mix) and improving it. So this mix is for gingerbread or GINGER COOKIES! You can barely see them there on the box, but they are super easy.


1/4 cup water

3 tbsp melted butter


That's it! So here's my (much needed) add ins:


Super Kick-in-the-face Ginger

1 tsp ginger (added to dry mix)

A touch of ginger added to the sugar you roll them around in. You've heard of cinnamon sugar, right? It's ginger sugar.


Super Ginger

1 tsp ginger (added to dry mix)


Just Perfect (for me)

1/2 tsp ginger (added to dry mix)

1/2 tsp cinnamon (added to dry mix)

Roll in half brown sugar/half white sugar mixture


Improved (better than the regular mix)

1/2 tsp ginger (added to dry mix)

1/2 tsp cinnamon (added to dry mix)


Baking instructions on the back of the box. (375, roll into balls and roll in sugar, 8-10 minutes)
