Frappe

We got ourselves a Ninja CREAMi Deluxe 11-in-1 Ice Cream and Frozen Treat Maker from Costco as an anniversary gift to each other. Seriously great idea. One of the first things we made was this frappe.

For freezing

1/3 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup (6 ounces) half and half

1 3/4 cups (14 ounces) hot black coffee, brewed

For processing

Pour-in: coffee

Toppings (optional)

Whipped cream

Caramel or chocolate sauce

Pour sugar into an empty CREAMi® Deluxe Pint. For best results, add sugar to the Deluxe Pint first. Pour the coffee into the Deluxe Pint to the FREEZE FILL line. Stir to combine mixture until sugar is completely dissolved.

Add half and half to the DRINKABLE FILL line. Place storage lid on Deluxe Pint and freeze for 24 hours.

Remove Deluxe Pint from freezer and remove lid from Deluxe Pint. Add coffee pour-in to the MAX FILL line. Select FULL, then use the dial to select FRAPPE. When processing is complete, transfer the Frappe to a glass and serve immediately.
