Before the super awesome brownie pans were made and out on the market, I was making my brownies in a muffin tin. Don't pretend you aren't going to eat a brownie that big. Don't pretend that you, too, won't fill half the cup, add peanut butter chips and fill the rest. And don't pretend that you don't want your brownies cooked in half the time.
