Crockpot ribs

I made some crockpot ribs this weekend. As far as ribs go, they're relatively easy. Even quicker: buy some BBQ sauce instead of making your own.

3 tbsp butter

1 onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 cup katsup

1 tbsp mustard

1/4 cup brown sugar

lots of pepper

2 tsp cayenne pepper sauce

2 tsp Sriracha

1 can tomato soup

dash paprika

chili powder to taste

 

Saute butter and onion. Add the rest and simmer on medium low while you assemble the rest.

 

One onion, quartered

Sweet potato, cut into large pieces

Yellow potato, cut into medium pieces

Handful of baby carrots

 

Turn on your broiler. Use a rib or hamburger seasoning to rub the ribs. I've used boneless and bone-in ribs in the past and both work equally well. Broil the ribs for a few minutes. Remove from oven and cut into smaller pieces. Place into crock pot.

 

Pour BBQ sauce over everything. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours. Enjoy.
